The Hearth & Hallow Market returns, this time in darkness transformed into a twilight realm of ritual, remembrance, and wonder. Wander through a marketplace of the strange and sacred, veiled in gauze and glowing lanterns. Discover handcrafted treasures, sip spiced brews, and witness quiet enchantments unfold beneath the October moon.


Costumes are encouraged—cloaks, veils, horns, wings, and all things otherworldly. Step gently, for you may just cross paths with more than you expected...

Location: 1023 Commerce St Lynchburg VA second level. Go through the cream door with a glass window with a sign that says CALCO over it. Go to the top of the stairs and through the door at the top and you can’t miss us!

Join us for the third annual Floyd Living Traditions Festival, a celebration of Floyd County’s traditional art and music, honoring the region’s rich cultural heritage through live demonstrations, performances, hands-on workshops, and more!

Presented by the Floyd Center for the Arts in partnership with Handmade Music School. Sponsored by Skyline National Bank, Floyd Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Floored LLC, and Virginia is for Lovers.

Live Demonstrations
Watch nearly 70 artists showcase time-honored Appalachian skills: basketry, chair making, corn husk dolls, broom-making, luthiery, spinning and weaving, blacksmithing, woodworking, pottery, soap making, letterpress, quilting, tintype photography, storytelling, and more.

Performances
Enjoy traditional music on the outdoor stage and interactive song and dance presentations indoors — all curated by Handmade Music School.

Exhibitions
Explore contemporary and historical expressions of Appalachian craft in our gallery spaces.

Workshops
Try your hand at traditional skills in short workshops led by regional artists.

Food & Fun for All Ages
